New version of The Devil SongSince I originally recorded The Devil Song, I've learned a lot in regards to mixing and sounds and such. And since I've always thought that original mix never did any sorts of justifications towards the song, we've redone the song entirely :)

This time with church bells for drama, heart beats for drums, and a lot of other snacks. In addition Inger's voice is at least 10 times better on this recording. There's also now a really great guitar solo there by me which I am 100% purely proud about. In fact I think I with pride can claim that this is our by far best production, ever.

The church bells was always on my mind when composing the song, in addition I also wanted to have a slow, slumbering beat next to it, which I think the heart beats does perfectly.

I have uploaded the song as a single to Jamendo which is a really cool website where people like me and Inger can share their music. In fact there's also a ton of professional musicians there, so I'd encourage you to have a look at Jamendo.

The song is like everything we create (of course) licensed as Creative Commons Share-Alike, which means that you're free to (legally) copy it, distribute it (for free) to your 6 billion closest friends and use it in your own material and such exactly as you wish (as long as you share your own work under the same license).

About Jamendo

Jamendo is a spectaculary cool website where everyone can share their music as long as they choose to do so under a Creative Commons License. Most of the musicians at Jamendo are hobby musicians like me and Inger, which normally wouldn't get the chance to publish their music outside of Jamendo. This have that weird effect of that almost none of the music there is commercialized to death, which means that the quality of the music at Jamendo is mostly far superior to whatever you would normally have to pay $29 for in a record shop.

There are TONS of brilliant musicians at Jamendo, one of my favorites are Amity in Fame. I especially love their "Dinner for One" song. Here's Amity's "widget";

Another one of my favorites are Revolution Void which is a really funky/jazzy/progressive weirdo band, with a totally unique sound and feel. Here's Revolution Void's widget;

So basically what I'm trying to say is; use Jamendo. Help promote these indie artists, and help promote the sharing culture. And while doing so evolve your taste in music :)

The future is ours...!
