new release of Ra-Ajax [0.8.4] with a new skin called
"steel". This skin is compatible with the "Sapphire" skin which means you can use this one instead in our Starter-Kits.
Another thing we've done is to really take the "leap" into becoming commercial. We are now selling three
Ajax Starter-Kits for $29. And we are so confident in that you will be satisfied that we have launched a
1 year money back guarantee if you are disappointed with our Starter-Kits and want your money back. Of course this means you'll have to
purchase an Ajax Starter-Kit first... ;)

All of our Ajax Starter-Kits are LGPL licensed, just as the rest of Ra-Ajax. And while the LGPL makes it perfectly legal to use Ra-Ajax in proprietary (commercial) Closed Source projects without putting restrictions on your own project, technically since you're not using the Starter-Kits by "linking", but actually starting your applications from them you are actually obliged to also LGPL license your own application if you distribute it and you started your application from an Ajax Starter-Kit. This creates an unwanted situation for some of our users who don't want to release the source code for their applications under the terms of the LGPL. Therefore we are selling "Commercial Licenses" for all three above Ajax Starter-Kits - for $29 each. You get free updates of all Starter-Kits until (including) the first 1.0 release of Ra-Ajax. You also get the right to use the Starter-Kit in *one* application, regardless of how many developers you have on that project.
I hope this offer is something a lot of our users will take advantage of since this currently is our only income from Ra-Ajax and we would really like to be able to have the finances to continue supporting this free of charge and beautiful Ajax Library for ASP.NET.
