Ra-Ajax 0.8.3 is now
out. And the coolest feature is probably
full documentation which I think a lot of our users will be happy about :)

The documentation is autogenerated using
Doxygen which is a really cool tool to create Reference Documentation for APIs. I've used it earlier in both Gaia and on
SmartWin++.
Another cool thing is that now (thanx to
Rick) we've now got full CRUD support in our
Ajax Calendar Starter-Kit. This means that the Ajax Calendar Starter-Kit now demonstrates not only browsing and editing items, but also creating and deleting items. Check it out at our
Ajax Calendar Starter-Kit.
But my personal favorite is in fact that we've now fixed that
dreaded FireFox Refresh/autocomplete form bug which actually have haunted me since I started doing Ajax libraries almost 3 years ago. To "kill" that bug was definitely my favorite. This basically means that now you can click Refresh in FireFox and it will reload the entire page *correctly* :)
So run to the
download page and grab your own personal copy of the best Ajax Library for ASP.NET licensed under LGPL - a very permissive Open Source license which enables free usage also for closed source projects :)
PS!
Very often people ask me; "What can I do to help". And sure we need help testing, fixing bugs, *finding* bugs and so on. But the by *far* most important thing we need help to is to get people to KNOW about Ra-Ajax. According to Scott Guthrie there are about 7.5 million .Net developers out there. And according to our weblogs we have about 300-700 unique visitors per day to our site. That means we're gonna spend until the end of this millennium (or something) before every .Net developer has seen this page, understood what Ra-Ajax is all about and had that great feeling of delivering their projects in a fraction of their current time schedule. So
help us get the message OUT. This means blog about Ra-Ajax, post to forums about Ra-Ajax. Comment at other people's blogs about Ra-Ajax. Talk about Ra-Ajax to your colleagues, friends and neighbours. The "word of Ra-Ajax" is important, help us spread it! Become an evangelizer of Ra-Ajax! Be proud! We need it, you need it but more importantly; the WORLD needs it!
