Engineering the Liberation of the Human Mind

It has never before through the entire human history been better to be a "geek" then now! The "geeks" of the 19 Century had to raise a *gazillion* dollars to be able to build railroads, telegraphs, bridges and such. While today a geek doesn't need more than a laptop and a nearby coffee shop with an Open WLAN to do his things.

If you think about that for a minute or two you'll realize that this gives the "geeks" a lot of POWER! Previously we had to sign all kinds of deals to be able to get to the resources we needed to build our bridges, railroads and do our stuff. Now we can drop going to our favorite nightclub two Saturdays in a row and we have everything we need to entirely change the face of the planet. In addition we have a medium which gives us the infrastructure needed to *share* our innovations, ideas, knowledge and thoughts! [the internet]

The header of this blog is actually how I perceive myself and my mission. And while these kinds of thoughts are by far new and have followed humans through thousands of years it is only the last decade or so we've had the tools to actually make it a reality.

Ever since spectrum was controlled in 1929 we have had absolutely no free press what so ever. Our heads have been stuffed with pure trash to make sure we run faster on the hamster wheels and continue living our lives consuming to make the wheels spin while enslaving ourselves deeper and deeper into the feudal system that the [*current*] financial system really is all about.

I am 100% positively sure about that this is about to CHANGE!

10 years ago "freaks" like me where left to solitude and isolation and couldn't reach out and communicate with other freaks with the same ideas. Though in today's connected world where one doesn't need the permission of the "editor" of some huge multi-national broadcasting television company to be able to spread ones ideas, really funny things starts to emerge. Only a handful of years ago I felt I was completely alone in the world with my ideas, but lately I've discovered more and more people sharing the same ideas and having the same vision as me. Just today I noticed this video on YouTube;

And since this is absolutely *out-of-control* by governments, corporations and the existing power-people this is virtually un-stoppable. This is like a huge gigantic tidal wave flushing away every wall the existing power-people have installed during the last 100 years with the purpose of stopping us to SEEING THE TRUTH!

That's the true beauty of the internet, it facilitates the movement of power to YOU! It absolutely stops all censorship and makes us all able to spread the truth ourselves as we ourselves see it! Not thinking about China here...

Though unfortunately the internet is quite fragile...

The internet is still a baby and still needs our help in order to survive and grow up, and I've written about Net Neutrality a couple of times before here, but feel free to check out the problems for yourself at Save the internet.

And the true beauty of this all is that as long as Net Neutrality still exists, then if for some reasons YouTube becomes corrupt and starts to cencor the really important stuff then it probably won't take more than a week before something else is out there as an alternative. The biggest thing the internet gave us was the knowledge of that we're not alone...

And knowledge is one of the few things here in life you cannot take away from people...

You are not alone, and if you want to - you too can use the header of this blog as your work-description...

Maybe it's time to wipe the dust of our old John Lennon LPs and really moving the humanity into the Age of Aquarius... ;)
